How It Works

Store Your Dorm offers the most convenient dorm storage service in Canada. In four easy steps here’s how it works:

  1. We deliver packing supplies to your dorm room. On the date of your appointment we will call you upon arriving at your on-campus residence or off-campus address to deliver your cardboard boxes, tape and labels so you can begin packing. If you have any questions about packing or our service your campus representative will be able to assist you.
  2. Pack your stuff. Once your packing supplies have been delivered its time to begin packing up for the summer so you can move out of rez and start your summer holidays! We suggest that you begin packing 5-7 days before your assigned move-out day. Remember, you’ve probably accumulated a lot of stuff over the academic year!
  3. We Pick-up your things from your dorm room. Usually we recommend having your things picked-up  from your dorm room either the day you are moving-out of residence or the day before. This is largely dependent on whether you are catching a flight, train or bus early in the morning. When we come to collect your things from your dorm room we will call you when we arrive at your residence, then you must let us into your dorm building so we can come up to your room. Once your boxes have been properly marked with your name and invoice number, you will be provided with a storage receipt and inventory outlining all the items you have given us for summer storage. Payment is due at the time of pick-up. Please refer to our FAQ page so you are aware of the various methods of payment.
  4. We deliver your things back to you. When you come back for the start of the next academic term, we will deliver your items back to you. We can deliver to both on-campus and off-campus addresses near the university or college where you are studying.
